yep afraid so.burnt to a cinder. the whole band had been regulars there from its opening day fucking years ago. a lot of the heavier bands played their early gigs there. not sure if they will rebuild it or what.it used to pull in well over 500 punters a night,and 99% of them were fucking steaming drunk so sales must have been good !!! colin,the guy who ran it was about the first dj in the city to play napalm death,bolt thrower ,benediction and all the death metal bands you could possibly think of at the very beginning when we were all starting out. he has always championed local music (even when he couldn't stand our racket !) and we hope he gets going again as soon as possible.in the meantime we will just stay in scruffy murphys pub and get wrecked until an alternative late night drinking hole is opened.
